Q: Do you provide both individual and group supervision? A: Yes. I provide clinical supervision for both Oregon and Washington licenses for social workers, professional counselor interns and marriage and family therapist interns.

Q: Where can I schedule with you? A: Supervision sessions are all currently via video. You can schedule here:

Q: Can you help me start a private practice (either before or after I’ve got my license? A: Heck yes I can.

Q: How much do you charge for supervision? A: You can learn more about my fees here. Appointments that are cancelled within 24 hours are charged at half rate, and no-shows are charged at full rate, excepting medical emergencies. If your agency pays for your supervision, you are responsible for late-cancellations or no-show fees. Let’s avoid fees as much as possible!

Q: How does payment work? A: Payment is due at time of service. I accept credit card payments. Prior to our first session, please download this form and send it to me, along with your CVC code.

Q: How do I know if we’ll be a good fit for supervision?
A: You don’t- that’s the fun of it. :) Not satisfied with that response? Ok, let’s chat on the phone or by video first to see if your goals and needs match what I can offer you. Contact me to schedule.

Q: How many hours of supervision should I do a month? A: Most licensing boards require a minimum of two hours of supervision a month, provided at two separate times. If you’d like to complete your license within two years, you’ll need to do four hours of supervision a month.

Q: Can I get my work to pay for my supervision? A: If your work requires a master’s-level clinician, and especially if they require you obtain your license, then it’s reasonable to request they accommodate you in this area. They can provide your supervision in-house, give you a monthly or yearly stipend, or at the very least, allow you to do supervision during your work hours so you get paid for your time. Questions around how to negotiate this? Email me and I’ll give you some pointers, and provide some advocacy on your behalf.

Q: How do I get my Oregon CSWA/LCSW social work licenses? Can I get my Washington license too? A: You can learn about getting your Oregon social work licenses here. Information about obtaining your Washington social work license is here.

Q: What should I do in preparation for my first session with you? A: Make sure you’ve checked out our topic of the month, filled out and sent the credit card authorization form, signed the supervision contract, and updated your supervision plans with your respective governing body.
