Jennifer Given-Helms, LICSW

Hey there. My name is Jennifer (she/her) and I live in Bellingham, Washington. I’ve been a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker since 2019, and working in private practice since 2015. I enjoy supporting people who are seeking professional licensure to develop both the clinical and practical tools needed to succeed in private practice.

As your supervisor, my preferred style is collaborative as I support you in gaining new skills and deepening understanding. In my own practice my primary modalities are mindfulness, strengths based therapy, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, and Trauma Informed Stabilization Training (TIST). I am experienced in supporting teens and young adults, as well as their families. Specialities include supporting people who are transgender, exploring or practicing ethical non-monogamy, disabled, neurodivergent, and/or survivors of trauma.
