June 2024 Clinical Supervision Topic: Race, Privilege, Power and Oppression

For this month, jump on social media and pick a therapist/social leader to follow. Learn something new from them about race, privilege, power or oppression in therapy/social work. If you can, focus on a specific skill they are encouraging (rather than a theoretical concept). Skills can include doing a location of self, validating experiences of oppression, advocating for resources, challenging oppressive workplace practices, doing land acknowledgements, etc.
